Preface

Above all else you read here, the Free Masons is a collection of people that play this game to have fun. While each of us may find joy in different aspects of play, the end result is the same. We gather together under the banner of the Free Masons to be with like minded individuals and be a part of a community. In any community you will have differences of opinion and belief. The ability to discuss an issue and not argue is what makes us courteous.

The following rules are in place to help us give an even hand to all members of the Free Masons. In a perfect world no one would ever need them.

Core Rules of the Free Masons

Members of the Free Masons are always expected to abide by the rules set forth by the Society’s Leaders. Failure to do so will result in disciplinary action taken by the Admiral / Officers. This can include warning, demotion, or banishment from the Society.

1. This is a game; please leave reality out of it.

2. Racial slurs, or other derogatory language is not allowed.

3. Maturity is expected as is fair treatment of those around you.

4. We hope that you are here to have fun, but also to remember that others are here for the same and if your idea of fun infringes on another in a unacceptable manner action will be taken.

5. Anyone caught taking advantage of another guild member will suffer automatic removal from the society, no questions asked.

6. All members are to register on the website and then claim their characters within 1 week of recruitment date. Failure to do so will result in automatic removal from the society.


Recruiting

All players who are willing to follow the societal rules are welcome within the society.

Inactivity

Any member who is inactive for 30 days or more will be removed from the society. This includes alts as well. Any member who is taking an extended break WITH the intent to return can notify an officer. A note will be made on the expected return date. Any member who is removed due to inactivity will be reinstated upon returning with valid explanation. Returning rank will be determined by the Admiral / Officers.
